A scientific visit for students of the Department of Architecture, third and fourth levels, to a number of archaeological sites

 The Department of Architectural Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university organized a scientific visit for the department’s third and fourth level students to a number of archaeological sites, most notably Al-Hatib, Shibam Haraz, Manakhah and Al-Hijra, in two separate visits, where the visit was on Thursday for female students and the male visit was on Friday, within the framework of the Emirati University’s keenness To link the theoretical aspect with the practical aspect and provide students with skills and knowledge through practical applications. Accompanied by Dr. Yasser Al-Nadesh and Engineer Muhammad Osama.

 During the visit, the students learned about the architectural elements in ancient Yemeni buildings, the traditional design that is compatible with the surrounding natural environment, as well as the local building materials used in various building elements, and the ancient construction methods used in Yemeni architecture since the beginning of the Islamic era.
