 The UAE University, represented by its students, participated in the first singing festival organized by the Educational Affairs Sector of the Ministry of Higher Education for Yemeni university students... which was held this morning at the University of Science, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Hussein Ali Hazeb, and the Deputy Minister, Dr. Ali Yahya Sharaf Al-Din.

 The goal of the festival, in which 40 students from 24 public and private universities from the capital and the governorates participated, was to enhance the spirit of creativity, competition, talent discovery, and exchange of experiences and knowledge among students of public and private universities.

 The festival, which was attended by the President of the University of Science and Technology, Dr. Adel Al-Mutawakel, the Undersecretaries of the Ministry, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qans and Dr. Ilham Al-Sanbani, the Secretary General of the Academic Accreditation Council, Dr. Muhammad Dhaif Allah, the Advisor to the Minister of Higher Education, Mahmoud Al-Salawi, the Directors of Private Education in the Ministry, Fouad Al-Hadda, and the activities, Abdul Karim Al-Dahhak, included. Representatives of public and private universities, and the Director of Activities at the UAE University, Ms. Sahar Al-Kahlani, gave speeches, as well as presenting examples of religious songs and poems to the competition participants from various universities.

 The jury was formed by the head of the Yemeni Singers Association, Ali Mohsen Al-Akwa, vocalist Muhammad Al-Hababi, and vocalist Salim Al-Wadaei, which announced at the conclusion of the festival the winners of the first season.
