A scientific symposium for students of the Civil Engineering Department on the importance of construction chemicals and insulation systems in improving the performance and protection of concrete structures

 Today, Tuesday, the University's College of Engineering and Information Technology organized a scientific symposium for students of the Civil Engineering Department on the importance of construction chemicals and insulation systems in improving the performance and protection of concrete structures, in cooperation with Tech Insulation Company.

 The symposium discussed the nature of construction chemicals and their importance in protecting concrete structures and improving construction work, and their types, such as concrete additives, repair and rehabilitation products, insulating materials, and industrial flooring.

 During the symposium, examples and samples of the products of Insulation Tech agencies, such as the Greek ISOMAT and the Bahraini Gulf Company for Bitumen and Coating Sheets Manufacturing, were presented, and practical examples of the uses of the products and integrated insulation systems were explained and presented.

 The symposium was attended by the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Farea and Head of the Civil Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amiri and teaching assistant at the Civil Engineering Department, Eng. Saddam Issa and teaching assistant at the Oil and Gas Department, Eng. Muhammad Osama and students of the college’s civil department.
