 On Thursday morning, the Center for Development and Quality Assurance carried out a workshop on the importance of evaluation in developing the university’s overall performance.

 At the opening of the workshop, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, President of the University, stressed the importance of evaluation as one of the main tools for measuring and developing performance, indicating that the university seeks to develop a comprehensive evaluation system that ensures measuring the performance of all elements of the educational process, including faculty members, administrators, and students, in a way that ensures Improving the quality of the educational process.

 After that, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, reviewed the workshop’s work program, the different types of evaluation, and the importance of each type in developing performance. He also discussed the necessary steps to design an effective evaluation system that contributes to developing the university’s overall performance.

 The workshop topics presented by Dr. Melfi Al-Qamsh addressed the importance of evaluation in bringing about the development and improvement of university performance, evaluation processes, evaluation projects implemented and being worked on, the transparency, clarity and objectivity of the evaluation process, general quantitative indicators for the various evaluation processes implemented, the difficulties and obstacles faced and facing evaluation processes, and solutions. proposed to be overcome.

 At the conclusion of the workshop, the discussion was opened for participation by the attendees, who expressed their interest in the topic of the workshop and presented a number of observations and recommendations that were taken into account to develop the evaluation process.
