Graduation Project: The Finder HIMO The project is an exploratory robot

Student graduation projects for the Mechatronics Engineering Department for the academic year 1444 AH.. 2022-2023 AD.

 Project No. 2:

 Finder Himo

The project is an exploratory robot that explores and searches and can be used in places that are difficult for humans to be in, such as ruins and places that have been exposed to nuclear disasters, or even on space exploration missions.

 The project consists of:

The HIMO robot is a multi-functional robot between the human robot and the Mobil robot. The exoskeleton is designed using:

 Solidwork

 Cinema 4d

 Maya

Its working mechanism depends on artificial intelligence (opencv and YOLO AI)

And the controller (raspberrypi and arduino miga

It is used for take and place and uses the bogie system used in NASA space explorers, which makes the robot's movement smooth and able to move in rugged areas.

He also has a camera to identify objects and people, and he can speak, answer some questions, and execute voice commands.

It was also equipped with a Finder drone, which works for aerial exploration and surveying and has a number of dedicated sensors that are fully connected to the robot via Wi-Fi. The robot and the plane can be controlled via a phone application or via the brushless motor remote and the ardiopilot controller.

The aircraft is intended for narrow and rugged areas that are difficult for robots and humans to reach.

The students also aspire to develop both the robot and the plane and use them in multiple fields in the future.

The project was submitted by the students:

Farah Al-Aghbari, Farah Al-Shalali, Donia Al-Basir, and Bisan Abbas. Under the supervision of Dr. Farouk Al Fahidi and Dr. Radwan Al-Budhaji. The discussion committee: Dr. Muhammad Al-Alfi and Dr. Mahmoud Al-Tuwaiti, in addition to the supervisory committee.
