The conclusion of the training course on the use of modern oil and gas engineering laboratories in scientific applications for students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department

 Today, at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the university, I concluded an advanced training course on the use of modern oil and gas engineering laboratories in scientific applications and scientific research in the field of drilling, reservoirs and production engineering for higher-level students, in the presence of the University President, Dr. One of the heads of the scientific departments of the college.

 During the conclusion of the session, the President of the University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Moufari, blessed the participants with the conclusion of the course and thanked those in charge of it. Pointing out that this training course comes as part of the university's endeavor to enhance students' capabilities in various disciplines, including oil and gas, and to provide them with practical skills that enable them to compete in the local and international labor market.

 During the course, the participants received training on the latest laboratories used by oil companies in the fields and in scientific research to measure and study all the properties of drilling fluids, completion of oil and cement wells, laboratories for the properties of oil and gas reservoir rocks, and how to calibrate and adjust the devices.

 The course, which was held during the period 13-23 August 2023, focused on effectively linking the theoretical side with the practical application of oil and gas engineering laboratories, and how to use the laboratories as a tool for applying theoretical concepts and developing practical skills among students.

 During the implementation of the training course, a theoretical briefing was presented on the practical use of the results of laboratory experiments and their use in the field petroleum industry by faculty members in the department from Dr. Ibrahim Farea and Dr. Nasser Al-Maafa and M. Mohammed Abbas.

 In conclusion, the participants were honored with certificates of participation, and the head of the student section of the UAE University of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) was also honored, as well as the practical trainer in the course, Eng. Muhammad Osama Al-Maqtari.
