Yesterday, Sunday, Al-Wahda Club in the capital, Sanaa, launched the Yemeni Universities League, as part of the activities of the Fifth Winter Forum for Al-Wahda Club 2022 AD. The opening match, which brought together the UAE University team and the Azal University for Human Development team, witnessed the victory of the UAE University team by a clean four. The university teams’ competitions will continue in the coming weeks for the qualifying rounds for the league. In addition to the League of Universities, the League of Companies, Organizations, Sports Clubs, Schools and Institutes will participate in the Winter Forum. The activities of the Winter Forum are considered the most important sporting event in Sana’a, as an annual tradition that Al-Wahda Sports and Cultural Club joins.
