A scientific visit for the third level students of the Mechatronics Department to Amran Cement Factory

 The Department of Mechatronics Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university organized a field visit for the students of the third level department to the Amran Cement Factory, as part of the field training for the students.

 The aim of the scientific visit is to link the theoretical side with the practical side, as the students got acquainted with the machines and equipment of the cement industry and the stages of the cement industry, starting from the quarry and ending with packaging.

 The students also got acquainted with the role of mechatronics engineers in this giant facility and the fields of work in it, which include the production department, the quality department, the safety and security department, and the control and control department, as well as managing and supervising these mentioned areas.

 Students from specialists in various departments and production units listened to an explanation about the departments in the factory, as well as an overview of the production capacity and the stages that the factory went through.

 The students were also briefed on the various laboratories of the factory, and got acquainted with the logical control section, in which the mechanism was explained from the beginning of production to packaging through the Control Panel.
