 This morning, Monday morning, students of the fourth level medical laboratory department organized a scientific visit to the Yemeni Society for Thalassemia and Genetic Blood Diseases, during an awareness visit; In preparation for awareness campaigns that will be implemented at the university in the coming days under the slogan of raising awareness of the seriousness of the disease...part of the medicine.

 As part of its social responsibility, the university is keen to involve medical students, and in cooperation with the association, to spread awareness of the dangers of genetic diseases, spread health awareness about thalassemia to prevent community members from it, and raise awareness of the importance of medical examination before marriage.

 It is worth noting that the campaign, which will be launched next week, will include blood donation, awareness lectures, and the distribution of brochures and other awareness publications.
