The Emirates International University, through its students in the College of Dentistry, won second place in the competition of the Second Sana’a International University Dental Conference and Exhibition, held during the period 22-24 February 2022 11 public and private dental universities participated in the competition, in which students from various participating universities competed during the stages of the scientific competition in various fields of dentistry, leading to the final round, during which the university won second place. The Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, congratulated the leadership of the university, its students and all its affiliates for this scientific student achievement, which is added to the great achievements made by university students in various fields, which reflects the university’s distinction and position among its counterparts in higher education institutions. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees directed that the winning students in the scientific competition be granted a free scholarship to study dentistry excellence at the university. The President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, and the Vice-President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, extended congratulations and blessings to the university students and all its affiliates for the achievement that was achieved, praising the role of the students of the Faculty of Dentistry participating in the competition and who won second place in the scientific competition, expressing the university’s pride in its students and all the scientific achievements they achieve. The students participating in the scientific competition and winning second place are: Aisha Al-Haimi, Alia Ziwar, Osama Al-Qadri, Amr Al-Yamani and Shaima Al-Jabni.
