An expanded meeting held by the Academic Accreditation Council to ensure the quality of higher education in Yemen approved the selection of Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Emirates International University, as the head of the national team for supervision and accreditation of academic standards. The meeting, which was attended by the Chairman of the Academic Accreditation Council, his deputy, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for Planning Affairs, the Assistant Undersecretary, and the deans of medical faculties in public and private universities in Yemen, came based on the decision of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research to form a national team to supervise and accredit the national reference academic standards for the program (specialization) of human medicine. The Emirates International University family, represented by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, the President of the University, the Vice-President of the University, and all the University's affiliates, extend their warmest congratulations to Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, wishing him continued excellence and distinction in his scientific and practical life.
