Practical projects that were discussed in the fourth-level mechatronics systems design subject, Department of Mechatronics - College of Engineering and Information Technology, Emirates International University. Third group: Project name: Intelligent wheelchair the summery of project: The project is a wheelchair that is motion controlled by software via Bluetooth from a tablet device. The tablet is installed on a holder with two motors, which takes the appropriate position according to the user. Uses and areas of the project: The project is an application of a mechatronics system for medical and handicapped purposes and can be commercialized. Expected Benefit and Scientific Value: The project is very promising and can be developed so that movement commands can be taken by a camera from facial movements if the disability is great, or even from nerve signals from the brain using a specialized headgear.
