Prof. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university, participated in the workshop on preparing the national academic reference standards for the human medicine program, which is organized by the Academic Accreditation Council. The workshop included a review of what was done by the committee in charge of revising the specifications of the graduate and the mental outputs, as well as the general outputs and the modifications that were made. The workshop participants were also divided into two groups, the first for reviewing the knowledge outputs and the second group for reviewing the professional practical outputs. Where the final drafting committee was chosen, which will undertake the final drafting and completion of the technical aspects of the final document headed by Prof. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Muhammad Issa and Dr. Nasr Al-Qudsi and Dr. Abdullah Al-Mikhlafi and Dr. Ali Shaiban. At the end of the workshop, closing speeches were delivered by His Excellency Prof. Abdulaziz Al-Shuaibi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research for Planning Affairs, Prof. Abdul Latif Haidar, Chairman of the Academic Accreditation Council, and Prof. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the Emirates International University And a number of other words. The certificates of participation were then distributed to the participants in the workshop. It is worth noting that Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri was chosen earlier in the year 2017 AD as head of the national team for the supervision and accreditation of academic standards.
