The UAE University team won the second place as a runner-up for the Universities League in the Fifth Winter Forum, which is joined by Al Wahda Sports and Cultural Club after the final match that brought it together with the Future University team. The final match, which was attended by the President of the UAE University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, witnessed a tie between the two teams with two goals for each team, and the penalty kicks were decisive for the Future University team to achieve first place, followed by the UAE University team in second place. The leadership of the Winter Forum had honored the UAE University team with the second place cup and silver medals.
