Today, Saturday, August 18, 2018, the Emirates International University launched a tender initiative to provide Eid clothes for children in the neighborhoods adjacent to the university. In its current activity, the initiative aims to dress 100 children from eligible families, in addition to collecting the largest number of volunteers to contribute to supporting the largest number of children. Through this activity, the university seeks to bring a smile to the targeted children and bring joy into their hearts and joy in the feast as a principle that the university follows to achieve and consolidate the values of cooperation and social solidarity within the framework of society. For his part, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, President of the University, considered that the idea of the initiative in implementing this charitable activity comes to achieve integration between scientific and charitable community activities, considering that the university stage for students is the gateway to work within the framework of society, whether at the practical level or providing services to members of the community and feeling the suffering of its members . The President of the University and on behalf of the Emirates International University family expressed everyone’s happiness in carrying out this activity, praising the support provided by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, His Excellency Mr. Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, for charitable activities aimed at serving the people of the community, who attaches great importance to these activities in achieving the vision, mission and goals of the University in the aspect of community service.
