The President of the Emirates International University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, Director of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at Sana’a University, Vice-President of the First Scientific Conference for Academic Development and Quality Assurance, Chairman of the Preparatory Committee, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qanas, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Qaddad, General Director of International Quality Systems on behalf of the conference organizer, held a consultative meeting to discuss preparations for the scientific conference The first for quality during the period 28-29 November, in which the university participates as a golden sponsor. The meeting focused on the measures that have been implemented, the level of achievement, and the final preparations to complete the remaining tasks for the convening of the conference. The meeting also touched on the partnership and cooperation between the university and the Development Center at Sana'a University and the aspects that can be worked on to benefit from the center's expertise in enhancing the university's progress and approach in the areas of quality and academic accreditation. University President Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim stressed the importance of benefiting from the center’s experience with regard to quality aspects and the expertise of Sana’a University cadres in this field. He also expressed his thanks to those in charge of the center for their efforts to prepare for the first scientific conference, as well as regarding the center’s cooperation with educational institutions. For his part, the Director of the Academic Development Center expressed his happiness with this meeting, which was held at the Quality Development Center at Sana’a University, stressing the Center’s readiness to exchange experiences, sign a cooperation and partnership agreement between the Center and the university, and provide decades-long experience in the largest government educational edifice at the level of Yemen to improve The level of quality in all institutions of higher education.
