Discussing graduation projects for students of the Accounting Department at the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the university

In the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, the Vice-President of the University, Dr. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, the Advisor to the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami, and the Dean of the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Sinan Ghallab, the Faculty of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the university, the Accounting Department, discussed the graduation projects for the students of the department. The student groups, which were divided into three groups, presented their project entitled: The Effectiveness of Internal Control Systems in Preventing Fraud Factors in Yemeni Commercial Banks, presented by students Muhammad Abdullah Saeed Al Shaibani and Hana Ali Mashhour Al Ahdal, under the supervision of Dr. Khaled Al-Matari. The aim of the research is to link the internal control systems to know their importance and prevent fraud factors, which in turn lead to the failure of administrative work in banks, and how effective they are in preventing the multiple factors that play a negative role in commercial banks. The second group presented its project entitled: The Role of Accounting in Developing Administrative Decisions, submitted by students Amin Faisal Abbad, Qais Rashid Al-Muhsin and Shahd Al-Zubaidi, and supervised by Dr. Mohsen Babqi. The research discussed the role of accounting in its branches in the development of decisions in the management community and its relationship to the development of the infrastructure and environment of the Yemeni society. The third group presented its project entitled: Factors Affecting the Independence of the External Auditor, submitted by the students: Altaf Mahdi Muhammad Al-Hamdani and Iman Muhammad Hassan Al-Suri, under the supervision of Dr. Sinan Ghallab. The research reviewed the correlation of the factors affecting the independence of the external auditor and its impact on the market factors that contribute to supporting the Yemeni economy sector. The discussion committee was composed of Dr. Akram Ali Othman, Dr. Mohsen Babaki, Dr. Khaled Al-Matari, Dr. Nabil Al-Olfi, Dr. Fouad Sharhan, Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami and Dr. Sinan Ghallab. All the submitted projects won the approval of the supervisors and attendees during the discussion, and the projects presented an outstanding level for all students in the department, which reflects the university’s level in providing qualitative education to its students and the practical and field training that students receive during their studies at the university. The discussion was attended by a number of faculty members and their assistants, male and female students from various university departments.
