The Student Activities Department launches the University Football League for the academic year 2021-2022

The Student Activities Department, under the patronage of the President of the University, Dr. Najib Al-Kumaim, inaugurated this Saturday morning the university’s football league between the university’s faculties in its sixth edition for the academic year 2021-2022 at the Al Wahda Sports Club stadium, in conjunction with the revival of the National Day of Resilience, which falls on March 26 and in cooperation with the Student Forum university. On its first day, the league witnessed 8 matches that brought together 16 student teams from different faculties and departments of the university. The opening match, which brought together a fourth-level information systems team with a second-level human medicine team, witnessed the victory of a second human medicine team with eleven goals for two. The second match witnessed the victory of the laboratories team at the third level over the information security team at the second level by seven goals to one. In the fourth match, which brought together the first level medical laboratories team with a third level pharmacy team, the laboratories team won five goals for four. The fifth match, which brought together the Banking and Finance team at the first level with the IT team at the third level, witnessed the Banking and Finance sciences winning by three clean goals. In the sixth match, which brought together the second level IT team with the second level clinical pharmacy, the IT team won four goals against three. In the seventh match, a fourth-level pharmacy team won by ten goals against a fifth Asnan team. The eighth match witnessed the victory of a second medical equipment team over a second level mechatronics team by seven goals to one. 32 student teams from various specializations and levels of university faculties are participating in the league, and the rest of the student teams are scheduled to complete the competition tomorrow, Wednesday, to advance to the League of 16.
