Graduation project entitled: "Modernization of Ma'rib Refineries, Yemen Oil Refining Company" College of Engineering and Information Technology, Department of Mechatronics Engineering. The project is the development of a system for the refinery, specifically the crude oil unit (crude unit) from a pneumatic system to a SCADA system, where the SCADA system consists of PLC, HMI and RTU, this system will organize the work in all parts of the crude oil unit and control all the processes inside it Thus, the refinery ensures more accurate performance, high control and consistency in the work of the parts of the crude oil unit, and it will allow engineers to control all parts of the crude oil unit from one place called the control room, where the work of the entire unit will be monitored from this room, which helps reduce errors and catch up in solving Problems before they escalate, this system will help in carrying out the calculations in every part of the crude oil unit and display it in the control room, including the flow of pressure temperature to save time and effort, this system will help to obtain the required product with the standards required for the possibility of high control in the unit . We also explain here that the system contributes to reducing 80% of the loss rate, which is a high value, as well as saving in the value of equipment. This project is considered the first of its kind in Yemen, as it was implemented by 100% Yemeni hands. Such projects are usually implemented in Yemen by foreign companies. But now, if the Yemeni kuwar has the opportunity, it has the ability to implement such projects at a much lower cost. In its conclusion, the project recommended giving more space for Yemeni engineers to work on such projects.
