Expanded workshop to review the description of the programs of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences

Today, Wednesday, the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences at the Emirates International University in Sana'a inaugurated the expanded workshop to review the description of the programs and curricula of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, with the participation of a group of distinguished academics at the level of Yemen. The workshop was launched under the patronage of the President of the University, Dr. Naguib Al-Kumaim, who welcomed at the opening of the workshop the participants from academics and researchers specialized in this field. The President of the University praised the great efforts made by those in charge of the college and its administrative staff, as well as the academic review team, in order to make this work a success. The President of the University stressed the support given by His Excellency the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, and his keenness to advance everything that contributes to the development of the educational process at the University and the excellence of its outputs in line with the rapid global developments in this field and the adoption of the finest educational methods and practices that achieve that distinction. The workshop dealt with a number of points, the most prominent of which was the review of program templates for the departments of international business administration - business administration - management information systems; In addition to a final review of the departmental course descriptions and matching the course outputs and their alignment with the vision and mission of the university, the college and the aforementioned departments. The review team was composed of: Prof. Sinan Al-Mardhadi, Prof. Abdullah Al-Najjar, Prof. Abdel-Khaleq Tawaf, and Prof. Mohammed Al-Kahali and Dr. Abdel-Fattah Al-Kiss and Dr. Majed Al-Alimi and Dr. Yahya Al-Ashmouri and Dr. Yahya Al-Samawi and Dr. Mukhtar Ghaylan, Dr. Abdul Majid Al-Khulaidi, and Dr. Akram Ali Osman and Dr. Mohammed Al-Saghir and Dr. Wael Siddiq. The workshop was attended by the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Abdullah Farea Al-Azazi, the Dean of the College of Administrative and Financial Sciences, Dr. Sinan Ghallab, the advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Dr. Hamdan Al-Shami, the General Director of Quality at the university, Prof. Ahmed Al-Mawry, and the head of the Mechatronics Department, Dr. Hatem Al-Daeis. At the end of the workshop, participants were presented with certificates of participation.
