The university celebrates the one-year anniversary of the appointment of Dr. Najib Al-Kumaim as its president

Today, Monday, the Emirates International University celebrated the one-year anniversary of the appointment of Dr. Najeeb Muhammad Nasser Al-Kumaim as its president. In honor of this occasion, the university organized a celebration for the university staff, with all its academic, administrative and technical staff, during which Dr. Naguib was honored with the university shield, a certificate of thanks and appreciation, and a set of valuable gifts that express the importance of the occasion to all university employees. The event included a speech by the President of the University on this occasion, in which he expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the university’s employees, headed by His Excellency the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Professor Sultan Al-Shaya, and the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, and all the university’s employees without exception for holding this festive event on the occasion of the one-year anniversary of his appointment as President of the University. And the appreciation he received from everyone during the previous period, expressing his pride and honor in belonging to this lofty educational edifice, and his work within the framework of a wonderful and distinguished team. The President of the University indicated that it was a year full of giving, excellence, quality, academic development, and expansion of the infrastructure. Like all of that, a qualitative addition to a distinguished academic and administrative cadre. And everyone proved the extent of their affiliation and loyalty to their university. He also indicated that this year was the year of adopting strategic thinking, adopting the university's strategy 2020-2025, and launching its executive plan at the college level. The university president urged everyone to continue working at the same pace, in a team spirit, to achieve leadership at the local and regional levels. It is worth noting that Dr. Naguib Al-Kumaim was appointed President of the University, on this same date last year. The university had witnessed a remarkable development during the previous years and since its establishment, which made the university take an advanced and high position among Yemeni universities, and make its way towards excellence at the regional level, in order to achieve the university’s vision, mission and educational goals, with the direct support of the university’s Board of Trustees.
