This morning, the Emirates University International Football League between the university’s faculties was concluded in its sixth season at Al-Wahda Sports Club in Sana’a, which was organized under the patronage of Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, President of the University during the period from 15-27 March 2022, and in the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri. Clinical pharmacology level IV and dental team level II. Where the team of the Department of Dentistry managed to grab the championship after defeating the team of the Clinical Pharmacy Department by three goals to two. The Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences congratulated the winners of the championship, pointing out the importance of the various activities accompanying the learning process in refining the students' abilities and skills. The Dean of the College of Medicine honored the League Cup winning team and the runner-up team, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Football Association in the Capital Municipality, Captain Adel Hashem, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Marwan Al-Zari, the Director of the Excellence Program at the College of Dentistry, Dr. Haitham Al-Kumaim, and the College Coordinator, Dr. Azal Atef, members of the organizing committee, the activities official, Ms. Sahar Al-Kahlani, Mr. Nashwan Mahmoud, and the media official. The winning team in the sixth edition of the League 2022 AD was crowned with the cup and gold medals. The runner-up team won the silver medals. The club was also honored with the university shield. It is worth noting that the University Football League Championship, which was held at Al Wahda Club Stadium, witnessed the participation of 32 student teams from all faculties and scientific departments at the university.
