Today, Saturday, the Mechatronics Department at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university began implementing the summer training program for final-level students in the department, at the textbook presses in Sana’a. Regarding the training for the department's students, Dr. Hatem Al-Deais, Head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department, indicated that the training program will last for three weeks. Where the students were distributed into two groups for training in the printing facilities in Garraf and Jider, and the students were introduced to the safety requirements and training controls in the institution, as well as to the departments of each unit. The head of the department confirmed that the training program will include training students in the different departments in both units, in a way that achieves the maximum benefit from the program in linking theoretical concepts with practical practices and providing the department’s graduates with more skills and practical experience that will enable them to perform effectively after graduation. Infrastructure, qualified human cadres, and rich experience in institutional work are an opportunity for the department's students to make the most in this field. The head of the Mechatronics Department, on behalf of the university leadership, thanked and appreciated the leadership of the textbook printing press for providing the opportunity to train the students of the department and provide them with practical experiences that contribute to raising their level of knowledge through practical training in the various units and departments of the book printing press. The students and head of the Mechatronics Engineering Department were received by Dr. Hamdan Ahmed Al-Shami, Executive Director General of the Corporation, Mr. Muhammad Abdullah Zabara, Deputy Executive General Director, Dr. Abdel Fattah Al-Qurs, General Manager of Human Resources at the Corporation, and Mr. Ahmed Al-Zuraiqi, Director of Al-Jarf Branch.
