In the presence of the Dean of the College of Engineering, Prof. Khalil Al-Wajeeh, and the Head of the Information Technology Department, Prof. Anwar Al-Shamiri, the Department of Information Technology at the College of Engineering at the university began discussing the projects of the graduate students from the department for the academic year 2018-2019. Where they discussed the project submitted by the student Rahma Al-Hajri, which is an application that provides services targeting high school graduates by providing advertisements for free grants and discounts in public and private universities as a platform that provides the student with all the data he wants to know. It also allows the application to ask questions and inquiries and communicate through Application with universities by opening a user for each university in the same application. The project submitted by the second group, Hilal Muhammad Al-Halli, Muhammad Hussain Al-Qubari, Nora Jamil Al-Tatar, Ruba Mishaal Al-Dael, and the supervision of Dr. Ibrahim Al-Balta and the engineer Heba Al-Marouei was also discussed. The project is a system (Yemen Hotels) that is an application that compares the prices of different hotels for reservations at the best possible price with the ability to benefit from the best offers offered by hotels available in Yemen. This application is characterized by providing a large database that contains a number of distinguished hotels with their prices so that users of the application can identify the different offers and prices and compare them for the same place to get the best place at the best available price. The discussion panel was led by: Dr. Khalil Al-Wajiyeh, Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Anwar Al-Shamiri, Head of the Information Technology Department, and engineer Ahlam Al-Hamdani. The discussion was attended by students from different departments of the college and parents of students. Other groups will continue to discuss their projects during the coming period, according to the discussion schedule approved by the department and the college.
