Today, Monday, the Emirates International University Council held an extraordinary meeting headed by the President of the Council, President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, and in the presence of the members of the Council and representatives of the relevant departments and departments. The council looked at a number of topics on the meeting’s agenda related to the educational process and the level of achievement during the past weeks from the start of the second semester of the academic year 2019-2020 AD, and the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research to suspend studies in public and private universities for a month, starting from today, Monday, corresponding to March 16, 2020 AD as part of the necessary measures to prevent corona virus. The meeting came out with a number of decisions and recommendations related to the implementation of the decision of the Ministry of Higher Education and the accompanying procedures for implementation on various academic and administrative aspects, as well as with regard to maintaining communication with students by various available means.
