According to the directives of the university president, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, and according to the outcomes of the meeting of the university’s advisory team, which is composed of the dean of the college, the director of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance, the university’s general secretary and an external quality expert. The Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at the university carried out today, Thursday, a mini-workshop for heads of medical departments, specialists in the college and a number of faculty members on the description of academic programs. During the workshop, which was attended by a group of experts in the medical specialties "dentistry, pharmacy, and laboratories", as well as heads of medical departments at the college and those involved in relevant departments in academic affairs, student affairs, and teaching assistants in the relevant disciplines. The strategic expert, Dr. Noman Fayrouz presented the mechanism for describing academic programs and discussing the time plan for developing the programs and the mechanism for meeting the committees during the coming period. It is worth noting that the university has a strategic framework directed towards the improvement of its academic programs, which stems from the university’s strategy 2025 AD, from which the strategy of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, as well as the strategy of the Faculty of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery, was derived in a scientific manner framed by implementation indicators according to what was planned.
