Today, Tuesday, the students of the Department of Dentistry at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university organized a student artistic ceremony for the graduation of the third batch of the “Eternal Smile” batch for the academic year 2019-2020. At the opening of the ceremony, the President of the University, Dr. Naguib Al-Kamim, welcomed the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, who was honored by his attendance at the graduation ceremony. He also welcomed all the attendees and participants in the graduation ceremony. The President of the University congratulated the graduate students from the Department of Dentistry. Expressing the university's pride in its students in all faculties of the university. He conveyed the greetings and appreciation of the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University and the Vice President of the University, the Secretary-General, to their students and their families participating in the ceremony. Addressing the students, the president of the university said, "You are now on the threshold of graduation, after which you will begin your scientific and practical life to enter the midst of life, the challenge for a better future for you, your country and your people. We are confident that you will be the best representatives of your university wherever you are, loyal messengers and beloved sons, to begin your journey in building your country and benefit from what you have studied and learned in your practical life.” The president of the university directed the graduate students to abide by the ethics of the profession and to contribute to the service of the people of the country, feel their suffering and take full care while performing their duty. The President of the University extended his thanks and appreciation to the parents for their care for the success and distinction of their children, as well as the faculty members and the academic and administrative staff of the college for their efforts and providing everything that helps the student to persevere and achieve success and excellence. For his part, His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Eng. Hisham Sharaf, congratulated the university for graduating a new group of students, after they obtained the sciences and knowledge that qualifies them to serve their country and provide health care to the members of society. He also congratulated the graduate students and their families, wishing them further progress and success in their scientific and practical lives. His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs praised the advanced level that the Emirates International University has reached and the prestigious position it has come to represent among private higher education institutions in Yemen, through its provision of distinguished education that contributes to graduating cadres armed with science and knowledge. In a speech by the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university, Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, the Dean of the College, congratulated the graduate students and their families, expressing the college’s pride in its graduate students from the Department of Dentistry and from all departments of the College of Medicine, wishing the graduates a better scientific and practical future. The student technical ceremony witnessed the performance of the medical section presented by Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, head of the dental department at the university, in addition to a number of rhetorical and artistic paragraphs, honoring the graduate students with certificates of appreciation, as well as honoring the university staff participating in the ceremony and honoring the families of martyrs from the neighborhood of the university.
