The conclusion of the discussion of graduation projects for the departments of Oil and Gas Engineering and Medical Equipment Engineering at the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology at the university

The Departments of Oil and Gas Engineering and Medical Equipment Engineering at the College of Engineering and Information Technology at the university concluded a discussion of the graduation projects for the students of the two departments, in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Hatem Al-Dais, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Farea, Head of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Al-Alfi, Head of the Department of Medical Equipment Engineering, Dr. Nasser Al-Maafi and Dr. Muhammad Abbas, and Dr. Mushtaq Al-Azazi. The project submitted by the remaining group of students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department was discussed, entitled: Log-derived Petrophysical Characterization and Hydrocarbon Potentiality of the Upper Qishn Clastic Member in the Tawil oil field - Block-14 - Say'un-Masila Basin In the project, the petrophysical properties and the possibility of hydrocarbons were described through borehole recordings, using TECHLOG 2015.3 software to perform the petrophysical analysis process in the upper crust layer in the Tawila field, Sector 14 - Al-Masila Basin, and also a Re-zoning process for the original layers where the shell layer was excluded. The project was presented by the students: Muhammad Khaled Al-Qudsi - Habib Walid Al-Maamari - Abdullah Abdul Salam Shaye’i - Hussam Mustafa Al-Shihabi - Al-Waleed Osama Al-Alas - Ahmed Khaled Al-Sheikh under the supervision of Professor Nasser Al-Maafi. The remaining group project submitted by the students of the Medical Equipment Department was also discussed, which is an electronic sterilization system and is divided into two parts. From harmful viruses and microbes using ultraviolet rays, and its uses include sterilizing operating rooms during operations and medical laboratories, and sterilizing corridors, offices, malls and closed places. The second part is automatic hand sanitization using the IR Module. The project is the work of the students: - Bandar Abdul-Majid Sarhan, Muhammad Jamal Juhish, Muhammad Sufian Al-Hakimi, Hisham Hamid Ali Nasser and Youssef Muhammad Saeed. It is supervised by Dr. Mushtaq Azazi.
