The UAE University inaugurated this morning, Saturday morning, the university’s football league between the university’s faculties in its fifth edition, 2021 AD, at the Al Wahda Sports Club stadium, under the slogan of steadfastness and victory and in conjunction with the revival of the National Day of Resilience, which falls on March 26, and in cooperation with the University Student Forum. 32 student teams from various specializations and levels of university faculties participate in the league. On its first day, the league witnessed 8 matches that brought together 16 student teams, and the results of the matches were as follows: The management team of the second level beat the civil engineering team of the second level with six goals for three. While the accounting team A first level won the oil and gas engineering team second level with seven goals for three. A second management team beat a second level human medicine team with ten goals to two. A third dental team defeated the Mechatronics team by five goals to one. The first civil engineering team also beat the second level mechatronics team by ten goals to one. The first level clinical pharmacy team beat the second level chemical engineering team with eight goals for three. The first level human medicine team also won the third level mechatronics team by three clean goals. The inauguration of the league was attended by Mr. Marwan Al-Zari, the dean of Student Affairs, Mrs. Sahar Al-Sayed Al-Kahlani, the activities officer, the engineer Osama Saleh Hizam, the Secretary-General of the University Student Forum, and Captain Adel Hashem, the Secretary-General of the Union in the Secretariat, a member of the league’s organizing committee for Al-Wahda Club. The rest of the student teams are scheduled to complete the competition tomorrow, Sunday, to advance to the 16th league.
