Within the framework of coordination and cooperation between the Emirates International University and various institutions of higher education, the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering at the UAE University, headed by the head of the department and the leadership of the Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE) chapter at the university, received yesterday, Thursday, the leadership of the SPE chapter of Hadhramout University of Science and Technology. During the meeting, the Head of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, welcomed the leadership of the Society of Petroleum Engineers at Hadhramaut University and accompanied them and the leadership of the Society at the UAE University on a tour to the various laboratories and modern laboratories of the department and the central library. The meeting was coordinated in the meeting room in the presence of the head of the department, Dr. Ibrahim Ali Farea and both the President of the UAE University chapter m. Ali Yahya Nasser, President of the Chapter of Hadhramout University, m. Hossam Al-Samawi and the rest of the members of the leadership of the association in the two universities. While the members of the Hadhramaut University chapter of the Department of Oil and Gas Engineering at the UAE University congratulated the university's admission to the International Society of Petroleum Engineers (SPE). Where the leadership of the two societies, headed by Dr. Ibrahim Ali Farea, discussed ways of cooperation, coordination and arrangement for various events. The meeting comes within the framework of the keenness of the members of the UAE University chapter to create and implement a plan of action to prepare the opening ceremony of the Chapter of the Society of Petroleum Engineers at the Emirates International University in the coming period. They also discussed future mechanisms through which joint cooperation can be implemented to implement the annual plan for both sides, which will have a significant and effective role in developing students' skills in both universities. This is the first step of its kind in the field of oil and gas engineering in the Republic of Yemen. Each of the members of the two societies also discussed the possibilities available to open the horizons of joint cooperation with the rest of the branches of the World Assembly in the rest of the countries of the region. At the end of the meeting, the members of the Chapter Council thanked the UAE University for the presence of the members of the Chapter Council of Hadhramaut University. Where the members of the University Chapter Council received an invitation to visit Hadhramout University. It is scheduled to organize the opening ceremony of the chapter of the UAE University in the near future.
