A student artistic ceremony for the graduation of the "Batch of Glory" from the College of Dentistry at the university for the academic year 2020-2021

Students of the College of Oral and Dental Medicine and Surgery at the Emirates International University organized this morning, Wednesday, a student artistic ceremony for the graduation of the "Al-Majd" batch for the academic year 2020-2021. In the opening speech of the ceremony, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, on behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the Council, Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, and the University’s leadership welcomed the attendees and participants in the ceremony, extending congratulations to the graduates and wishing them a prosperous future and a life full of giving and achievement. The president of the university expressed the university’s pride in graduating a new batch of students from the Faculty of Dentistry, who will begin their scientific and practical lives and be the best doctors who contribute to the service of the people of the country and society and the best ambassadors for the university, pointing out that the medical profession is one of the noblest professions because it is related to human health. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the families of students, faculty members and all university employees for their distinguished giving during the students' academic years. The ceremony was attended by a member of the Board of Trustees, Mr. Saleh Al-Rowaishan, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, the Dean of the College of Dentistry, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Shami, the head of the Department of Pediatric Dentistry, Dr. Abdel-Qader Zabara, a number of department heads in the college, a number of department directors, heads of departments, faculty members and their assistants At the university and the Secretary-General of the University Student Forum Osama Saleh Hizam, and a number of parents, most notably Professor Khaled Al-Ruwaishan, the former Minister of Culture. The ceremony witnessed honoring the graduates and performing the medical oath, and honoring the university's staff and supporters with certificates of appreciation and memorial shields.
