Start of the practical training program for students of the Department of Medical Equipment Engineering, Level 4

The College of Engineering and Information Technology - Department of Medical Equipment Engineering launched this Saturday morning the start of the implementation of the practical training program for students of the department, Level 4, which was launched early last week in the presence of the former Minister of Higher Education and the university leadership, which is implemented in cooperation with the Medical Eng Training Center and is implemented over a period of three months, where the start of the implementation of the program was attended by the Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Fareh, and the Head of the Department of Medical Equipment Engineering, Dr. Muhammad Al-Alafi.

The training program aims to apply students to a number of the most widely used medical devices in hospitals and health centers, and to learn about the principles of work and operation of medical devices, and the operating steps and procedures that must be followed, to ensure the proper performance of the devices, and to avoid problems of misuse. As well as to learn about preventive and corrective maintenance found in device catalogs and how to follow them.

 The program also aims to introduce students to common malfunctions of medical devices, how to track malfunctions and how to repair them, without causing new problems.. In addition to learning how to install and disassemble new medical devices, or devices that need repair or maintenance, and learning about the devices and tools that must be used when dealing with medical devices, and learning how to write reports related to medical devices, such as purchase, acquisition, maintenance, and damage reports, etc., as well as preparing and matching tender offers.

دشنت كلية الهندسة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات- قسم هندسة المعدات الطبية صباح اليوم السبت بدء تنفيذ البرنامج التدريبي العملي لطلبة القسم المستوى الرابع والذي تم تدشينه مطلع الأسبوع الماضي بحصور وزير التعليم العالي السابق وقيادة الجامعة، والذي يُنفذ بالتعاون مع مركز ميديكال أنج للتدريب ويتم تنفيذه على مدى ثلاثة أشهر، حيث حضر بدء التنفيذ للبرنامج، عميد كلية الهندسة وتكنولوجيا المعلومات الدكتور إبراهيم فارع ورئيس قسم هندسة المعدات الطبية الدكتور محمد العلفي. 

ويهدف البرنامج التدريبي، إلى تطبيق الطلبة على عدد من الأجهزة الطبية الأكثر أستخداما في المستشفيات والمراكز الصحية، والتعرف على مبادئ عمل وتشغيل الأجهزة الطبية، وخطوات التشغيل والإجراءات اللازم إتباعها، لضمان أداء الأجهزة بصورة سليمة، وتفادي مشاكل سوء الإستخدام. وكذا التعرف على الصيانات الوقائية والتصحيحية، الموجودة في كتلوجات الأجهزة وكيفية أتباعها. 

كما يهدف البرنامج إلى تعريف الطلبة بالأعطال الشائعة للأجهزة الطبية، وطريقة تتبع الأعطال وطريقة إصلاحها، دون التسبب في حدوث مشاكل جديدة.. بالإضافة إلى التعرف على طريقة تركيب وفك الأجهزة الطبية الجديدة، أو الاجهزة المحتاجة لإصلاح أو صيانة، والتعرف على الأجهزة و الأدوات اللازم إستخدامها أثناء التعامل مع الأجهزة الطبية، والتعرف على طريقة كتابة التقارير المتعلقة بالأجهزة الطبية، مثل تقارير الشراء والاقتناء والصيانة والاتلاف وغيرها، وكذلك عمل عروض المناقصات ومطابقتها.
