The Emirates International University participated today, Saturday, in the angry marches to support Gaza and in solidarity with the prisoners called for by the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of Hamas, days before his martyrdom.

Hundreds of members of the Emirates International University, led by the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Badani, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, went out in the march that started from the university to the United Nations building in the capital, Sana'a, where they met angry demonstrators from various areas of the capital.

The demonstrators raised pictures of the martyr leader Ismail Haniyeh, head of the political bureau of the Islamic Resistance Movement Hamas, as well as pictures of the martyr Fouad Shukr, the leader in Hezbollah, and chanted slogans threatening to avenge the two martyrs and slogans affirming standing and solidarity with Gaza and Palestine.

 The statement issued by the marches of the International Day of Rage on August 3 in support of Gaza and solidarity with the prisoners condemned in the strongest terms the crimes and violations that Palestinian prisoners are subjected to in the prisons of the Zionist enemy.
