Graduates of the UAE University win first places in the national competition for creative and innovative projects

 Students and graduates from the Emirates International University won first places in the national competition for pioneers of creative and innovative projects organized by the Higher Authority for Science, Technology and Innovation in its sixth season, 1445 AH, corresponding to 2024 AD, within the framework of the national vision for building the modern Yemeni state, centered on nurturing creativity and innovation. 

 In the closing celebratory event of the competition organized by the Higher Commission for Science, Technology and Innovation on Monday morning, under the patronage of the President of the Supreme Political Council, in the presence of a number of state leaders and businessmen, and with the participation of the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, the winners of the UAE University students were honored. The grand prize for first place, which was represented by a car for the paper recycling production line project, while the projects of the five-axis CNC machine and the smart dental chair, winners of second place, were honored with a financial prize of 500 thousand riyals for each project. 

 The University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, offered congratulations to the pioneers of the winning innovative projects, among the university’s graduates, congratulating them and the university on this achievement, and expressing the university’s pride and pride in its students and graduates and every achievement they achieve in their academic and practical lives. 

 The university president and the secretary general directed that the winning projects be honored and participate in the competition in a special ceremony at the university. 

 It is worth noting that the number of projects participating in the National Competition for Creative and Innovative Projects in its sixth season 2024 reached 816 projects from various Yemeni governorates, of which 62 projects qualified for the stage of presenting the idea and clarifying the possibility of applying it in reality according to sound scientific foundations, of which 30 projects qualified for the application and operation stage. Of these, 16 projects qualified for the final stage, and then four projects won first place, four projects won second place, four projects won third place, and four projects won fourth place. 

 Participating projects from UAE University students that qualified for the application, operation and training stage were 7 projects, of which three projects qualified for the final, of which one project won first place and two projects won second place.
