The university honors students participating in the Holy Quran Competition

 The leadership of the Emirates International University honored the university students who won and participated in the Holy Qur’an competition among Yemeni universities, which was recently held by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. 

 At the honoring ceremony, which was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Mr. Muhammad Al-Dhifani, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, and the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, praised the efforts of the students participating in the competition, and congratulated them on their memorization of the Book of God. He also stressed the importance of the Holy Qur’an in the lives of Muslims, and its role in promoting good values and morals. 

 Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari pointed out the university’s appreciation for memorizing the Book of God, and allocating free scholarships and discounts to the winners of first places in competitions for the Holy Quran organized by the relevant authorities. 

 The university president also indicated that the student, Amr Sharif, from the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, second level, who won third place in the Holy Quran competition, was granted a full scholarship in appreciation for his memorization of the Book of God and for winning third place. 

 While the students participating in the competition were given special discounts in appreciation for their memorization of the Book of God and their participation in the competition. 

 The students participating in the competition expressed their happiness and pride in this honor. They also thanked the university for its interest in encouraging memorization of the Holy Qur’an and supporting students participating in Qur’anic competitions.
