 This Thursday morning, the University's Development and Quality Assurance Center organized a workshop to review and discuss the procedures, timetables, and requirements of the various performance evaluation processes at the university and its colleges. It targeted deans of colleges, heads of scientific departments, and a number of faculty members. This was in the presence of the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, and the Dean of the Development and Quality Assurance Center, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi.

 The workshop aimed to discuss the various tools and indicators used to evaluate the educational process, discuss the challenges facing evaluation processes, and develop proposals and appropriate practical steps to address them.

 At the opening of the workshop, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, President of the University, welcomed the attendees, stressing the importance of holding this workshop, which comes in the context of the general project for continuous evaluation and evaluation of performance, improving various evaluation processes and developing more efficient and effective evaluation mechanisms that ensure achieving the best educational results and improving the quality of education in general. .

 After that, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center, and Dr. Melfi Al-Qamsh, Head of the Measurement and Evaluation Unit, reviewed the procedures and processes for evaluating university performance, including: evaluating faculty members, evaluating academic programs, methods of evaluating students and learning outcomes, mechanisms for evaluating the educational environment, and other aspects.  The workshop came up with a number of recommendations, including: improving and developing evaluation processes and the interaction of various parties, enhancing the culture of self-evaluation, and providing more support and training to faculty members on using various evaluation tools, to ensure the achievement of an effective, comprehensive, and objective performance evaluation whose results contribute to the continuous improvement and development of overall performance. .
