The Ministry of Higher Education discusses the annual performance report of the UAE University for the years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023

 A meeting was held in Sanaa today, Thursday, headed by the Deputy Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Professor Dr. Ali Sharaf al-Din, to present and discuss the annual performance report of the Emirates International University, as part of the annual meeting to discuss the performance reports of Yemeni universities for the years 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 AD.

 The meeting, which included the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Higher Education for the Educational Affairs Sector, Dr. Ghaleb Al-Qanis, the Assistant Undersecretary for the Planning and Policy Sector, Dr. Ilham Al-Sanabani, and members of the National Indicators Team, listened to a summary of the report submitted by the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mawfri, which was reviewed by Professor Jamila Al-Sharjabi, Head of the Strategic Planning Unit. At the University’s Center for Development and Quality Assurance, which includes the university’s achievements during the past two years in the academic, research, administrative and societal fields, performance indicators in the university’s plans and programmes, achievements achieved in this aspect, and future aspirations.

 The university's president, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, confirmed that the university is committed to providing distinguished education, and is working to strengthen partnerships with local, regional and international educational and research institutions. Praising the efforts of the ministry’s leadership, represented by His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education, Mr. Hussein Ali Hazeb, the Deputy Minister, Dr. Ali Sharaf al-Din, the directors and heads of the ministry’s councils and centers, and the ministry’s team, in developing indicators for improving the educational process, evidence, and the annual report model, which was based on scientific and academic indicators and standards, with the aim of achieving excellence through Applying these standards, whether national or international, and reflecting what was implemented in them in the annual report, stressing that any achievement achieved by the university is an achievement for the university, the ministry, and the political leadership to embody the national vision for building the state. He also thanked the university team for its efforts during the previous period, which was reflected in the annual report.

من جانبه أشاد الدكتور علي شرف الدين نائب وزير التعليم العالي، بالمعلومات والبيانات التي تضمنها التقرير والتي عكست الإنجازات التي حققتها الجامعة، والجهود الكبيرة التي تبذلها قيادة الجامعة في إستمرار عملية التطوير والتحديث في مختلف الجوانب الأكاديمية والإدارية، والإرتقاء بمستوى العملية التعليمية. 

وكان وكيل الوزارة الأستاذ الدكتور غالب القانص، قد أشار إلى أن مناقشة التقارير السنوية للجامعات، يأتي في إطار تنفيذ مصفوفة مشاريع الرؤية الوطنية المتعلقة بالتعليم العالي. 

الجدير بالذكر أن وزارة التعليم العالي والبحث العلمي كرمت الجامعة الإماراتية الدولية خلال العامين السابقين بإعتبارها من ضمن أفضل الجامعات، بمستوى الأداء الأكاديمي والتعليمي من واقع التقارير السنوي. 

حضر المناقشة مستشار الوزير وعضو اللجنة الأستاذ محمود الصلوي والأستاذ فؤاد الحداء مدير عام التعليم الأهلي، والأستاذ عبدالكريم الضحاك مدير عام الأنشطة بالوزارة، وعدد من مدراء العموم بديوان عام الوزارة، وعميد مركز التطوير وضمان الجودة الأستاذ الدكتور شرف الحمدي، والمسجل العام الأستاذ مروان الزراعي، والأستاذ سعيد المقطري رئيس قسم الحسابات والأستاذ عبدالسلام الصلاحي، والأستاذ نشوان مانع.
