 Today, Thursday, Safar 26, 1444 AH corresponding to September 22, 2022 AD, the University's Center for Development and Quality Assurance held a periodic meeting with the work team charged with preparing and studying the self-evaluation of the human medicine program headed by Prof. Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the Center, and the presence of the head and members of the team headed by Prof. Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Mughni, Vice Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences.

 

 The meeting comes in the context of the project of preparing self-evaluation studies for the academic programs offered by the UAE University within the framework of the periodic work series and the chronic implementation plan.

 

 Where the meeting reviewed a number of topics, most notably the changes that occurred in the standards and indicators of the academic accreditation guide for the Medicine and Surgery Program (Human Medicine Program) prepared by the Academic Accreditation Council - Second Edition for the year 2022 in accordance with the standards of the Federal World Federation for Medical Education (WFME), as well as the mechanism of work To accommodate the variables and complete the revised guide in its final form because of its importance in improving the educational process in accordance with the university’s strategy 2025.

 

 During the meeting, the Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance reviewed the main and subsidiary standards, performance indicators and the changes that occurred in each of them, referring to the team's work mechanism through which the requirements of these changes were completed and met.

 

 The meeting came out with practical decisions, most notably reviewing the evidence, evidence and attachments that were previously completed, to rearrange them in proportion to the amended guide 2022 AD, and to fulfill the deficiencies thereof, and to complete the completion of the self-assessment guide.

 

 The meeting was attended by members of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance.
