The students of the Department of Human Medicine at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences at the university organized this morning, Sunday morning, a student technical party to bid farewell to the second batch of human medicine batch "Basmat a Doctor", in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, the Dean of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, and the Vice Dean of the College, Dr. Sadiq Abdel-Mughni, and a number of heads Academic departments, faculty members and their assistants at the university, a number of directors of departments and administrative and technical departments related to the university, the Secretary-General of the University Student Forum at the university, Engineer Osama Saleh Hizam, and parents of graduate students. In the opening speech of the ceremony, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, and on behalf of the Board of Trustees, the Chairman of the Council, Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, and the University’s leadership welcomed the attendees and participants in the ceremony, extending congratulations to the graduates and wishing them a prosperous future and a life full of giving and achievement. The president of the university expressed the university’s pride in graduating the second batch of students from the Department of Human Medicine, who will begin their scientific and practical lives and be the best doctors who contribute to the service of society and the country, and the best ambassadors for the university, pointing out that the medical profession is one of the noblest professions as it relates to human health, urging the graduate doctors to work hard. With human consciences when dealing with patients, adherence to the ethics of the medical profession, continuing the process of higher education until obtaining a doctorate, and joining vocational training programs and the field of work to provide everything that would provide an outstanding medical service. Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim sent a letter of thanks and appreciation to the families of students, faculty members and all university employees for their distinguished giving during the students' academic years. In the speech of the Deanship of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences delivered by the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, he congratulated the students and their parents on the occasion of their graduation, pointing out that graduation is a milestone in the education process that must be continued to obtain higher degrees, to be equipped with science and knowledge in the field of medicine and to keep abreast of developments and all that is new in this the field. The ceremony included the performance of the medical oath delivered by Prof. Sadeq Abdel-Mughni, speeches by the graduates, the university student forum, honoring the graduates, and a presentation of a reportage about the batch and their educational career at the university. The ceremony also included artistic links and honoring the staff and supporters with certificates of appreciation and memorial shields.
