This morning, the Emirates University International Football League between the university’s faculties concluded this morning in the capital, Sana’a, under the patronage of Dr. Najeeb Al-Kamim, President of the University, and in the presence of the Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani. The final match brought together the fourth level clinical pharmacy teams and the first level dental team. Where the fourth level clinical pharmacy team managed to grab the championship after defeating the first level dental department team with five goals to two. The Vice President of the University, Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, congratulated the winners of the championship, pointing out the importance of the various activities accompanying the learning process in refining the student's abilities and skills. He stressed the university's keenness to implement qualitative activities in partnership with the competent authorities and prestigious sports clubs. We extend our thanks and appreciation to the management of Al-Wahda Sports Club and its technical staff, and to the team organizing the league from among the university's affiliates. The Vice President of the University honored the winning team in the League Cup and the runner-up team, in the presence of the Secretary-General of the Football Association in the Capital Municipality, Captain Adel Hashem, the Acting Dean of Student Affairs, Mr. Marwan Al-Zari, the Administrative Director, Mr. Ammar Aqlan, the Coordinator of the Faculty of Dentistry, Dr. Haitham Al-Kamim, and the activities official, Member of the Organizing Committee of the League, Professor Sahar Al-Kahlani and Professor Nashwan Mahmoud, member of the organizing committee. Where the Vice President of the University crowned the winning team of the League Championship in its fifth edition, 2021 AD, with the cup and gold medals. The runner-up team won the silver medals. The club was also honored with the university shield. It is worth noting that the University Football League Championship, which was held at Al Wahda Club Stadium in the Capital Municipality during the period from March 20 to April 5, 2021 AD, witnessed the participation of more than 450 students representing 32 student teams from all faculties and scientific departments at the university.
