Dr. Najeeb Al-Kamim, President of the Emirates International University, and Dr. Ahmed Al-Baadani, Vice President of the University, participated in the activities of the 53rd "virtual session through visual communication technology" of the General Conference of the Association of Arab Universities, held during the period from 7 to 8 April, in the presence of Dr. Amr Ezzat Salama, Secretary-General of the Union of Universities Arab directors, presidents and representatives of Arab universities, members of the Executive Council of the Federation. The meeting discussed a number of topics on the agenda of the session, on top of which is the project for the Arab classification of universities, the project for documenting and protecting university certificates, as well as electronic platforms for scientific periodicals. Announcing the prizes of the Association of Arab Universities, supporting the activities of the Arab Council for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research, in addition to supporting the University Theses Deposit Center of the Union, and discussing membership applications for universities that submitted their membership application to the Union. It is worth mentioning that the university, based on its 2025 strategy regarding improving the educational process and building companies with local, Arab and regional institutions related to the educational process. The university has completed all the procedures related to obtaining membership in the Association of Arab Universities. During the meeting of the membership committee, all documents, reports of the committees and the requirements for obtaining membership that the university submitted to obtain membership were reviewed, and the university was granted working membership in the Association of Arab Universities.
