Emirates International University obtains working membership in the Association of Arab Universities

The Emirates International University has obtained working membership in the Association of Arab Universities. This came through the decision taken by the Union Conference held during the period 7-8 April, after completing all the procedures that enabled the university to obtain working membership. On this occasion, the President of the University, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, expressed his happiness and pride in this great achievement of the university and the institutions of higher education in Yemen, which comes as a culmination of the efforts aimed at establishing a distinguished position for the university, putting it in the ranks of the prestigious universities and enabling it to move forward towards excellence. I extend my congratulations and blessings to the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, all members of the Board and all university employees. The President of the University noted that this achievement came as a result of a cumulative process during the past years of the university's life, as it was able to provide an appropriate educational environment, a developed infrastructure, and a distinguished administrative and academic environment, according to which it was able to meet the academic standards. He stressed that working membership is a gain for the university, its students and all its members, enabling them to benefit from all the services provided by the union. For his part, the Chairman of the University’s Board of Trustees, Professor Sultan bin Obaid Al-Shaya, expressed his thanks and appreciation to everyone who contributed to this achievement, especially the presidency of the university, the academic and administrative bodies and all its employees, as well as congratulating the university students. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees stressed the Council’s continued support for everything that would achieve more excellence in accordance with the University’s 2025 strategy aimed at improving the quality and quality of teaching and learning to graduate qualified cadres armed with science, knowledge and excellence locally, regionally and internationally.
