The UAE University Participates in the First Consultative Meeting of the Leadership of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research with University Presidents

The UAE International University, represented by its President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofri, participated in the first consultative meeting of the leadership of the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research with the heads of governmental and private higher education institutions, which was held in Sana'a today under the slogan "Mercy to the Worlds".

In the meeting, the Minister of Education and Scientific Research, Hassan Al-Saadi, pointed out that the first meeting with the heads of educational institutions coincided with the most honorable, greatest and holiest occasion for the Islamic nation, the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad.

He stressed the importance of making this occasion the beginning of the ministry's work.. indicating that everyone has a religious and moral responsibility to carry out their duties to the fullest extent and participate in commemorating the birth of the Mercy Guided and the Shining Lamp for Humanity.

 Minister Al-Saadi stated that the Holy Prophet, may God bless him and grant him peace, was honored to bear the responsibility of guiding, teaching and directing the nation, and this is part of the core work of academics and educators. He explained that the work in the coming phase will be based on achieving God’s pleasure and serving the student, society and country, and in accordance with the Quranic directives. 

He said: “Your mission today is to educate and guide people and raise the scientific, cultural and moral level of students at all levels.” 

He considered this meeting as the launch of activities to commemorate the birth of the Prophet in universities and institutions affiliated with the ministry. He called on academics and knowledge holders to embody the behavior of the Holy Prophet in their practical reality. 

He pointed out the importance of combining efforts and working in the spirit of one team to advance the educational process and establish mechanisms and minimum scientific standards that are compatible with the current situation, environment and Yemeni circumstances, and to build on what has been done in the field of modernization and development at all levels. 

The meeting was attended by Deputy Minister of Education and Scientific Research Dr. Hatem Al-Duais, leaders of the ministry, its affiliated bodies and institutions, and presidents of public and private universities.
