Concluding the summer training program for students specializing in information technology and cybersecurity, the fourth level... and launching new courses for students of the second and third levels.

 This morning, the University's Training and Qualification Center concluded the practical training program for students of the Information Technology and Cybersecurity departments, which included the following courses: MCSA - VMware vSphere 7.0 - CCNA. The training course in advanced technical and technical support was also launched, targeting university students, levels two and three. In the specializations of information technology and cybersecurity. Within the framework of a series of training programs organized by the university with the aim of developing students’ skills in various specializations, enhancing their capabilities, and preparing them for the labor market with complete efficiency and ability. 

 

 At the conclusion of the summer training program and the inauguration of the new courses, in the presence of the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Engineer Muhammad Al-Dhifani, the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Hanash, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, stressed the importance of these training programs in enhancing students’ capabilities and meeting the needs of the labor market. He pointed out that the university is working hard to provide the best training programs for its students to ensure their excellence in various fields. 

 

 The university president also indicated that the training programs were carefully designed to bridge the gap between university outcomes and labor market requirements, so that graduates and students can acquire practical knowledge and skills, enhance their abilities, and complement the skills and knowledge they acquired during their studies to help them integrate into the labor market immediately after graduation. 

 

 The programs presented by Engineer Mohamed Al-Hamati aim to introduce students to the latest technologies and tools related to their specializations, and to provide them with the necessary skills to deal with the various challenges they face in work environments. The program also aims to enhance the spirit of teamwork among students and encourage them to innovate and create. 

 

 The summer training program for fourth-level students was implemented with 110 training hours and included: CCNA course: It aimed to teach students the basics of computer networks, including routing, switching, and local area networks. 

 

 The MCSA course: aimed to introduce students to dealing with servers and their various services, from server infrastructure services to security and protection of systems and networks. 

 

 VMware vSphere 7.0 course: It aimed to teach students how to manage virtual infrastructure using VMware vSphere 7.0. 

 

 The course for second and third level students, which was launched today, covers a number of topics: the basics of technical and technical support, the basics of networks and cybersecurity, and the basics of operating systems, software bases, and electronic devices. 

 

 The technical support course will be implemented during the period June 1-11, 2024, with 30 training hours, which will include theoretical lectures and practical applications. The trainee students will also be granted accredited certificates upon completion of the course.
