Opening of the exhibition of scientific projects in the design subject for first-level architectural engineering students

 Today, Wednesday, the President of the UAE University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, and the Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, opened the exhibition of scientific projects in the design subject for first-level architectural engineering students, at the College of Engineering and Information Technology. This was in the presence of the Dean of the College, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, the Head of the Department of Architectural Engineering, Dr. Ahmed Yafa’a, the Professor of Design, Ms. Sahar Al-Eryani, Ms. Hanan Dahan, the Department Instructor, and Ms. Sahar Al-Kahlani, Director of Activities.

 During the opening of the exhibition, the university president praised the efforts made by the architecture students in preparing and implementing their scientific projects, which reflected the extent of the knowledge and skills they had acquired in the subject of design.

 The university president stressed the importance of such exhibitions in motivating students to be creative and innovative, developing the spirit of competition among them, developing students’ abilities and skills, and exchanging expertise and experiences among them.

 The University President extended his thanks and appreciation to the teaching team in the Department of Architecture for their efforts in supervising the students and guiding them in preparing scientific projects.

 The scientific projects participating in the exhibition were diverse, and they dealt with various topics in the field of architecture, such as the design of residential, commercial and service buildings, and the design of gardens and landscapes.

 More than 50 male and female students participated in the exhibition, and scientific projects were presented in the form of three-dimensional models and engineering drawings.

 The exhibition attracted the attention of visitors, both students and professors, who expressed their admiration for the scientific projects presented by first-level students in the Department of Architecture.

 The students expressed their happiness at the opening of the scientific projects exhibition, stressing that these exhibitions contribute to motivating them to creativity and innovation, and developing the spirit of competition among them.
