Opening of the photo and sculpture exhibition and inauguration of the Martyrs’ Forum at the UAE University

 Today, Tuesday, Jumada al-Thani 13, corresponding to December 26, 2023, the exhibition of pictures and models honoring the martyrs was opened at the Emirates University, in the presence of the University President, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Mofari, the University Secretary-General, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, the official of the General University Student Forum, Engineer Abdul Hakim Shamsan, and the Deputy Secretary-General of the University Student Forum, Eng. Ayman Al Mushki.

 The exhibition, which was organized by the Activities Department and the University Student Forum as part of the events and activities commemorating the anniversary of the martyr for the year 1445 AH, and in support of the national campaign to support Al-Aqsa, included a group of pictures and models that embody the heroism of the martyrs in defending the homeland, and tells the story of the struggle of the Yemeni people against aggression and siege.

 The Martyrs Forum was also launched, which will include a group of seminars to commemorate the martyrs and honor their families.

 In his speech during the opening of the exhibition, the University President, Dr. Nasser Al-Mofari, stressed that the exhibition embodies the values of loyalty and gratitude to the martyrs who sacrificed their lives in defense of the homeland. It aims to raise awareness of the importance of martyrdom and sacrifice and to remember the exploits of the martyrs and their immortal heroism.

 For his part, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Hanash, pointed out that the martyrs are the safety valve of the nation, and that their sacrifices will remain immortal in the minds and hearts of Yemenis. He added that the opening of the exhibition and the inauguration of the Martyrs’ Forum come as an affirmation of loyalty to the martyrs, and in appreciation of their sacrifices.

 The exhibition lasts for three days, and is open to university members daily during the specified period.
