Launching a training course for the mechatronics department staff on the use of the new devices with which the department has been enhanced

 Today at the university, the Secretary-General of the University, Dr. Fouad Ismail Hanash, inaugurated the training course for the staff of the Mechatronics Engineering Department at the College of Engineering, with the aim of enhancing the staff’s skills in using the new devices and equipment with which the department’s laboratories have been strengthened.

 During the inauguration of the course, Dr. Fouad Hanash, Secretary-General of the University, considered this course an important opportunity to enhance the technical skills of the scientific and technical staff in the department, and to enhance interaction and knowledge exchange between the university and the supplying company.

 The Secretary-General indicated that the training will contribute to raising the efficiency of the human staff in the department, enabling it to use these devices effectively, and making it able to keep pace with scientific developments in the field of mechatronics, in a way that serves the department’s educational and research objectives.

 It should be noted that the university has strengthened the laboratories of the Mechatronics Engineering Department with the latest advanced devices and equipment from the German company Festoa, which is considered one of the leading companies in the field of providing mechatronics equipment in the world.

 The company is currently organizing a six-day intensive training course for staff in the department, where the training is conducted via the Microsoft Teams application. The course is presented by Dr. Atta Al-Shatl, an expert in the field of mechatronics from Germany. The course content includes training on Power Electronic devices and the Control Laboratory, in addition to PLC and Microcontroller devices.
