Discussion of graduation research for students of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy for the academic year 1444 AH, corresponding to 2022-2023 AD

 Today, Thursday, the Department of Clinical Pharmacy at the College of Medicine and Health Sciences discussed the graduation research for the department’s students, the fifth batch, for the academic year 1444 AH, corresponding to 2022-2023 AD. In the presence of the Dean of the College of Medicine and Health Sciences, Professor Dr. Saleh Al-Dhaheri, the Head of the Department of Clinical Pharmacy, Professor Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Barihi, Dr. Taha Al-Nasari, Dr. Ali Al-Yahwi, and Dr. Abdullah Saadallah. The public discussion was also attended by a number of male and female students of the department and a number of medical departments in the college.

 

 The first group presented their graduation research entitled:

 

 Antibiotics Utilization Patterns and Dosage Appropriateness among Hemodialysis patients.Sana'a city,Yemen

 

 Patterns of antibiotic use and appropriate doses among dialysis patients in Sana'a hospitals.

 

 The research was submitted by the students: Muhammad Hakim Ghailan, Muhammad Al-Karraz, Asrar Al-Tawili, Hala Abdul-Asbahi, Islam Al-Bahlouli, Omar Al-Qudsi, Hisham Al-Qudsi, Suhaib Al-Absi, Zaid Al-Jaziri, Omar Al-Jahdari, and Abdul Rahman Al-Nahari. Under the supervision of Dr. Mahmoud Al-Burehi and Dr. Abdullah Saadallah.

 

 While the second group presented its research entitled: Evaluate Using SLGT-2 inhibitor Drugs Based on The Updated Guidelines in Discharge Patient at Sana'a City

 

 Evaluation of the use of SLGT-2 inhibitor drugs based on updated guidelines in Yemeni patients during discharge.

 

 The research was submitted by the students: Muhammad Al-Dabai, Muhammad Al-Rumaima, Rajaa Aman, Abdullah Al-Aoun, Abdul Rahman Al-Maliki, Abdul Qader Abbad, and Saja Khamis. It is supervised by Dr. Ali Al-Yahwi.

 

 The third group presented its research entitled: Anxiety and depression among liver cirrhosis patients.

 

 Study of depression and anxiety in patients with chronic liver cirrhosis.

 

 The research was submitted by the students: Abdul Karim Hamoud Al-Aqabi, Adel Amin Tarish, Asiya Mayad, Faten Al-Sharjabi, Ahmed Al-Muhya, Saleh Al-Jaham, Naseem Al-Muntaser, Saleh Al-Safiri, and Moaz Al-Safiri. Under the supervision of Dr. Mukhtar Al-Gharafi and Dr. Abdel Abdel Salam Halboub.

 

 The discussion committee was formed by Professor Dr. Saleh Al Dhaheri, Dr. Mukhtar Al Gharafi, and Dr. Mahmoud Al Buraihi. The committee praised the research submitted by the students and considered it worthy of graduate research.
