Launching a training course on the use of modern oil and gas engineering laboratories in scientific applications for students of the Oil and Gas Engineering Department

 Under the auspices of the President of the Emirates International University, Dr. Nasser Hadi Al-Moofari, the College of Engineering and Information Technology launched an advanced training course on the use of modern oil and gas engineering laboratories in scientific applications and scientific research in the field of drilling, reservoirs and production engineering for higher-level students, in the presence of the College Dean and a number of department heads.

 

 During the inauguration of the course, the Dean of the College of Engineering, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, indicated that this course comes as part of the college's endeavor to enhance the practical and research capabilities of students in the field of oil and gas engineering, and to provide them with the knowledge and skills necessary to use modern oil and gas engineering laboratories in scientific applications and scientific research.

 

 During the course, students will be trained on the latest laboratories used by oil companies in the fields and in scientific research to measure and study all the properties of drilling fluids, completion of oil and cement wells, laboratories for the properties of oil and gas reservoir rocks, and how to calibrate and adjust the devices.

 

 The week-long course is concerned with the effective link between the theoretical side and the practical application of oil and gas engineering laboratories, and how to use the laboratories as a tool for applying theoretical concepts and developing practical skills among students.

 

 It is applied in practice using the oil and gas engineering laboratories at the university: Engineer Muhammad Osama Al-Maqtari. Ibrahim Ali Fara and d. Nasser Al-Maafa and M. Muhammad Hassan Abbas.
