 The College of Engineering and Information Technology hosted a symposium to review Autodesk software programs in the fields of architecture, civil engineering, construction and manufacturing. In the presence of the university president, Dr. Najeeb Al-Kumaim, Dean of the Center for Development and Quality Assurance at the University, Dr. Sharaf Al-Hamdi, Dean of the College of Engineering and Information Technology, Dr. Ibrahim Farea, Head of the Civil and Architectural Engineering Departments, Dr. Ibrahim Al-Amiri, and a number of department heads and teaching assistants at the College of Engineering.

 The symposium aimed to introduce the participants to the programs provided by Autodesk and the extent to which the university can benefit from them to enhance the skills of students of the civil and architectural engineering departments with the most important programs used in engineering fields to link the theoretical side that students receive during their academic years with the practical side that qualifies for the labor market.

 In the symposium, he reviewed the capabilities of Autodesk programs in the ease of making engineering projects, the BIM technology system that deals with structural engineering, the analysis and design of concrete buildings, the three-dimensional rendering of architectural projects, and other related fields in civil and architectural engineering.
